droceRoG Sources Released |
|
Sunday, 12 February 2012 |
droceRoG is a SGF file viewer for PocketBook ebook readers (6" and 9" series). SGF file contain Go games, probably with variations, comments, and marked positions. The sources of an alpha version have been created by me in the beginning of the year and are now uploaded to GitHub. Check out droceRoG on GitHub for further info.
When a stable version is reached, also a compiled executable is placed on GitHub. At the moment, small bugfixes are still to be done.

Short update warning: Today I noticed that every time I call the beatime command, a small "aux" file is created by the program. I've fixed that now, but a few people have already downloaded the tool.
If you want to find all "aux" files on your system, please execute the following command
find ~ -name "aux"
and delete the shown files. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Ok, this was fast: The "Downloads" section is now available, again. Some permissions had to be set correctly...

Download Section Disabled |
|
Sunday, 15 February 2009 |
|
Short info: Because this site has moved to another provider, I figured out some problems with the "Downloads" sections in the main menu on the right. This is disabled now, until I find a appropriate solution.

In the last three days this site was unavailable due to a server update. Sadly the backups weren't played back correctly, so I put some extra effort to restore this homepage manually. Seems to work.. [I love backups!] Sorry for the circumstances!

Linux Tips Category started |
|
Wednesday, 28 February 2007 |
The linux tips section has now been launched. There we will provide (hopefully useful) tips and tricks to the linux users and those who want to become one. In the next months this will be filled up with content.
BTW, this little guy on the left side is the mascot "Tux" from Linus Torvalds, who is named to be the first who began to program the linux kernel. There was a call for tender for a mascot and the only demand by Mr Torvalds was that the mascot should look like somebody who has had the best sex and the best cup of beer in the world... Look into these eyes of the penguin and consider its smile! |

In the last few months this homepage wasn't available in the world wide web because of a hard disk crash at my provider. This has now been fixed but with the complete loss of all my previous data written online. So there's a new birth of hausmilbe.net, this time I'll try it in english (or some kind of it..)
Please be patient, new contents will be here available soon. I plan to transfer and translate the contents from hausmilbe.de to this site. But this will take some time...
And, yes, this time I will do some backups too...
